Event: Project Aadya

Aadya means beginning and as our pilot project we are working on promoting healthy menstrual hygiene management in community 

Five Secondary Public Schools of Uttrakhand were visited by our hardworking team of Mohni Foundation where they spread awareness on menstrual hygiene management amongst the school children. All Boys and Girls were educated on the importance of hygieneic menstrual hygiene habits in women. 

Director and Founder Neeraj Mishra Supervised and co-ordinated the events himself where he received thanks from the Adolescents as well the teachers of the school. All the Volunteers who imparted awareness and education were priorly trained by health care professionals so the knowledge that was spread was accurate and effective.

Post every awareness session, the gilrs received free Sanitary napkins which was very well received and appreciated. Mohni Foundation will continue to work on empowering women in the society one at a time by educating the soceity and not just the girls. When intervened at the right time and right place the universe witnesses change in ripples and we at Mohni are motivated to turn those ripples into waves of change.
